Expiring message is a part of the security of WhatsApp. This feature will be useful for you when you share some information with someone that is not needed after the work is over. For example, if you share a password with someone, then for some time you will be able to delete it.

This feature is already present on messaging apps like Signal and Telegram. The chat of these apps can be set from a few seconds to a week to be deleted automatically, however this upcoming feature of WhatsApp will have different law for the group i.e. only the administrator is entitled to use this feature Will happen.
